Peter Tunnicliffe is a founding member, past-president and CDM’s current alternate member on the Water Design-Build Council Board of Directors. WDBC is an organization established in 2006 to create a vocal and effective industry advocate for the value of alternative approaches to delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects and to promote best practices in design-build and CMAR procurement and implementation through education and outreach. As CDM Smith’s Executive Vice President, Tunnicliffe currently heads the firm’s design-build project development group and strategy to implement Project Integration Centers for design/build and design/build/operate projects; as well as serving as CDM’s corporate account manager for two national private water companies with regulated and non-regulated water and wastewater projects throughout the United States Prior to his current assignment, he created and led CDM’s design-build and construction subsidiary, growing it to one of the ENR Top 400 Contractors in the U.S.
Peter holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute; a J.D. from the Brooklyn Law School; and a M.S. in Water Resources from Northeastern University.
