Tom Visosky, based in Los Angeles, CA, is CDM Smith’s representative to the Water Design-Build Council Board of Directors, bringing significant knowledge and expertise to the organization. Tom was instrumental in creating the WDBC Advisor Group to provide a means for Water Design-Build Council members to further engage and actively work with affiliated businesses in the pursuit of achieving best practices required for the design-build delivery of water and wastewater systems. Tom currently serves on the Advisor Committee.
Tom is a vice president with CDM Constructors Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CDM Smith that is focused on collaborative project delivery and construction solutions. Tom has 22 years of significant experience in planning, conceptual design, final design, pre-construction, construction, and commissioning of large water resource projects throughout the U.S. and Australia and has served as a project director, project manager, technical advisor/quality manager, pre-construction manager, and lead project engineer on these projects. He has delivery experience with lump sum design-build, progressive design-build, construction management at-risk (CMAR), design-build-operate, public-private partnerships (P3), and design-bid-build delivery approaches. At CDM Smith, Tom promotes and implements best practices in collaborative project delivery and serves as an industry advocate for the value of integrated and collaborative approaches to delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Tom has a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of California at Davis and is a professional engineer in California and Texas.
