Brian NIcholas is responsible for leading and coordinating the growth of the water sector enterprise across North America for Acciona Agua, with special focus on the design, construction and, if required, operation and financing of water, including desalination and wastewater treatment plants.
Prior to this, Brian was responsible for developing and overseeing the Agua division’s business growth in markets such as Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom and for growing and managing a multi-discipline business development team that includes marketing, technical, project management, and estimation.
Recent P3 successes include Mundaring Water Treatment Plant (Perth, Australia); Saint John Water Supply (Saint John, New Brunswick) and the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant (Vancouver, British Columbia).
Mr. Nicholas has over 40 years of water sector experience, ten of which were representing an English water utility across the international arena, and the remaining 30 years have been spent working for various process contractors (American, German, Austrian, English, Australian, and Spanish) wanting to establish a presence and a business within South America, the Middle East, India, Australasia, and lately North America.
He has qualifications in business administration, environmental management, and chemistry. Brian is currently based in Spain with offices in Los Angeles and Vancouver (Canada).
